Condition: Very fine, with full oversized margins and MINT delicate mica rainfall showcased in the multiple images. Has all the qualities of a first state impression with period paper, darker impression and dated provenance as well. An ancient pine tree at the side of a pond; it conveys the brooding mood of a bleak nocturnal downpour. This work was undoubtedly created to rival the print’Night Rain at Karasaki’, by Hiroshige.
