This is a Vintage Tangu Benji Asada (1899 – 1984) Japanese Woodblock Print. The print dates to the 1950’s and was published by Uchida. The print is titled “Pheasant” and is printed on paper with the Uchida watermark. The print is framed, matted, and under glass. The frame is 21 3/4″ wide and 17′”tall. The mat opening is 15 1/2″ wide and 10 3/4″ tall. It is in very good aged condition. There is some roughness in the print paper and foxing (see pictures).
