Set Of 3 Japanese Kitagawa Utamaro Woodblock Prints Framed Abalone Diver VGC. Here we have a set of three wood block prints by utamaro. They are all wonderfully framed and what looks to be 1970 frames. I did remove one of the prints from the frame to see what kind of information I would be able to determine from the print itself. I found the particular print with no further markings or notations. However what I did find is that these wood block prints are linen backed. And they are loosely adhered to the bamboo paper matte. The prints measure 16 inches high and 10 in wide. The wood frames measure 20 inches high and 14 in wide. The frames themselves are in good condition. Ready to be displayed as is. I believe that these are a post 1940 woodblock print set but I could be wrong please take a look at the pictures as they could be earlier.
