THESE WOODBLOCK PRINTS HAVE VERY NICE BOLD COLOR AND KEPT VERY WELL IN THESE FRAMES. I CAN ONLY IDENTIFY ONE OF THE JAPANESE ARTIST AS “KAWASE HASUI”THE OTHER ONE I CANNOT READ JAPANESE AND THERE ARE NO APPRAISERS IN MY AREA TO LOOK AT IN WHO ARE IN THIS FIELD OF ART… BUT THIS PIECE IS VERY WELL DONE AND PROBABLY THE BEST ONE… BOTH ARE DONE WITH MT. FUJI IN THE BACKGROUND. THE FRAMES KEPT THIS PRINTS IN VERY NICE CONDITION.. THE PAPER USED FOR THESE PRINTS ARE TEXTURED. I BELIEVE ONE IS DATED 1935.
