This woodblock print is by Hiroshi Yoshida (18761950), perhaps the greatest and most famous of all 20th-centuryJapanese print makers. Title: Chion-in Temple gate, from the series Eight Scenes of Cherry Blossoms. The original frame bore a sticker reading: Acquired Sept. This sticker has been preserved and comes with the print. The print suffers from some toning and discoloration to the rear. The photos should be your guide to all condition questions. The print does not include frame.
