Period Rare Utagawa Hiroshige (17971858) woodblock print titled View of Mount Fuji from Satta Point in the Suruga Bay, #23 from the 1858 series 36 Views of Mt. Fuji Measures 14 5/8 x 9 7/8. Fine color bleed from the back typical of period woodblocks. If wanted, we have the Basic Black Frame (no glass) that has old description writing on back. Frame is 19 x 13 ½. In very good condition with uncut margins. Slight crease in bottom margin (goes under mat). Top section glued down on silk mat with water soluble glue. Some fading, especially red of artist seal.
