Original Antique Hiroshige Utagawa Woodblock Print Yokkaichi: Junction with the Road to the Shrine (Yokkkaichi, Sangûdô oiwake no zu), from the series The Fifty-three Stations of the Tôkaidô Road (Tôkaidô gojûsan tsugi no uchi), also known as the Gyôsho Tôkaidô. This is an original print that was previously framed, and I took it out to frame to examine it. The paper on the back of the frame has a small hand-written label attached that gives information on this work. Lightly pasted to cardboard backing on one side. Some fading, minor scuffs and creases. Measurements: Overall: 10 x 14 1/4 inches; sheet: 8 7/8 x 13 inches. All items for sale are vintage or antique and it may show evidence of wear. Please see condition report and photos.
