Antique Japanese Woodblock Print Katsushika Hokusai C19th On Laid Paper. Unframed and in good condition for its age. This woodblock print or ukiyo E is called Koshu Kajikazawa and is one of his 36 Views of Mount Fuji. One laid paper which has the lines visible from the paper making process that died out in the C19th when modern paper making techniques took over. I’ve included a photograph of the print held up to the light to show the lines. Signs of age but in excellent condition for its age. It has old mounting tape around the edges from the old frame.
