Antique Japanese Woodblock Print C19th On Laid Paper. This woodblock print is called Day Break At Shinagawa. One laid paper which has the lines visible from the paper making process that died out in the C19th when modern paper making techniques took over. I’ve included a photograph of the print held up to the light to show the lines. Signs of age with centre mark and worm holes to corner, please view all photographs.
