This is an original Japanese Edo era c. 1830 guaranteed original Ukiyo-e (woodblock print) by the Japanese artist Toyokuni III, aka Kunisada Tsunoda. Of the Utagawa school. Depicting a Kabuki actor. The government censor stamp indicates that this was a pre-1842 publication / printing, likely the 1920’s or 1830’s. This is the standard Oban size and it measures roughly 10″ wide by 14 1/2″ tall (25 x 37 cm). The print is framed in glass 15.5″ x 19.5″.
