These prints were done around 1900 and are much older than most reprints. They were commissioned by the original Kisokaido publisher as a commemorative re-release of Hiroshige’s beautiful original series. Excellent oban commemorative reprint from the Meiji commemorative with fine color emulating the original with very good detail. From the Sixty-Nine Stations of the Kisokaido. Very good overall condition with a nice senseof age. No tears, fading or damage. Some slight foxing as shown in photo. Print size – 13.5″ x 8.5″ – 15.5 x 10.75 with margins.
