Bijutsukai is a collection of beautifully colored designs for arts and crafts such as a kimono. It has been published since 1909 by Unsodo. Compared to Shin-Bijutsukai, it is based on a traditional design.
Shiro Kasamatsu – Frost. Designed and self-published by the artist, Shiro Kasamatsu was one of only a handful of artists that were successful as both Shin-Hanga and Sosaku-Hanga artists. Published in 1960, this is a limited edition numbered in pencil B 89/100.
This unique Japanese woodblock print is a rare find for collectors of antique Asian art.
Condition: It has quite a few condition issues namely fading, tears along the borders, two small holes near the bottom right corner. Please see pictures for a better representation.
