I believe this is a Genji story print but I could be wrong. I used AI and they said it was. I believe this is from the 1930-40’s but could be older. This has sat in my drawer for over 30 years. I bought an entire collection of Japanese woodblocks which I have started to list over the last few months. My wife and I have collected prints and paintings for over 35 years thinking we would open a store when we retired. This collection of Japanese prints came from a person who collected in Mainline Philadelphia. Condition is really good. It is in a thin matte but can easily be taken out. Size in matte 9 1/2 inches by 7 1/8 approximately. Out of matte it measures 5 3/4 by 4 1/8 inches. Would look beautiful in a nice frame. The gold on top is real nice.
