Hand-printed Woodblock(Tanzaku) Artist: Koho Shoda Antique Japanese Item. Meiji – Taisho Era(1877 – 1924). Size : 8.5 x 35 cm. Koho Shoda (September 25, 1877 – July 1, 1924) was a Japanese painter, printmaker, and kyokash (humorous poetry) master active during the Meiji and Taisho periods. He worked in traditional Japanese painting and printmaking while also creating kyoka, a form of humorous and satirical poetry. Shoda Koho’s works were highly regarded for their unique style and expressive power, especially his contributions to the field of printmaking. Considering the era, the condition is very good.
