Vintage Japanese Print Kintaro and Yamauba. Image originally found as Kitagawa Utamaro in regular woodblock print. This is very thin and translucent black and white washi lightly adhered to art board. See last 2 images where I lifted it carefully. Does not seem like a regular woodblock. Same image as Utamaro but in black and white. The 3 mountain symbol is the same as Utamaro–I assume the title. Matted 23″ x 29 1/2″ – Actual paper size 18 1/2″ x 24 1/4″. Anyone that can shed some light on this for me would be appreciated.
