This is a rare original vintage Hiroshi Yoshida Japanese woodblock print dating from 1930. Signed and titled on the lower edge. Titled “Waiting for the Tide”. Has the artist mark and publishing seal. In very good condition for its age. No creases, no folds, no tears, no holes, no repairs, no water damage. Paper has waves from being loosely taped in the frame and has a slight toning line from previous framing as seen in the photos. Has the year “1930” hand written in the upper corner in pencil and is very faint. Pencil and brush signatures. Design used for the cover of the first edition of the Abe catalogue.
