This is a rare, stunning recarved woodblock print of “Mosquito Net Beauty” by the Japanese artist Roshunsai Eiko produced in the early 1900s. Roshunsai Eiko (dates of birth and death unknown) was a ukiyo-e artist of the Edo period. He was a pupil of Toribunsai Eishi, and his real name is unknown. His works have been included in the Tokyo National Museum, Arts University Museum, Japan Ukiyo-e Museum, and Kyoto Cultural Museum. Print dimensions are approximately 8×12 inches.
