This set features two beautifully framed ukiyo-e woodblock prints in the bijinga style, which depicts elegant women in traditional attire, set against the serene backdrop of blossoming trees. 16,5″x 12,5″ framed. Condition: Excellent preservation of colors and details, with original seal marks visible. Style: Bijinga (depiction of beautiful women). The inscription on the print indicates that the artist is Toyohara Chikanobu , a renowned ukiyo-e master from the Meiji period. Chikanobu is well-known for his depictions of beautiful women, cultural scenes, and historical events, which makes him one of the prominent figures in the ukiyo-e tradition during this time.
