Artist: Utagawa Hiroshige Print design by Hiroshige featuring a golden pheasant perched on a snow-covered slope dotted with young pine trees. Wonderfully drawn with fine detail in the feathers, and soft shading on the hill. A rare o-tanzaku format. Artist – Hiroshige (1797 – 1858). There is some wrinkling to the paper. This appears to have been framed years ago so I highly doubt it was done using acid-free materials. The colors are still very strong. The frame measures (approx) 14.25″ x 7.25″. The visible portion of the image is (approx) 10.5″ x 3-3/4″.
