This is a 19th Century woodblock print by Toyohara Chikanobu from his Kabuki theatre series – circa 1879 – 1881. This is two panels of what we believe was a triptych of a kabuki theatre scene – great subject matter. Great, vibrant colors to this piece. The pieces together measure 18 1/2″ x 14 1/4″.
