This highly atmospheric nocturne scene depicts an industrial waterfront under moonlight with glowing reflections across the water, drifting smoke, and silhouetted structures rendered in Hasui’s celebrated poetic style. The print displays exceptional depth and mood, with subtle bokashi gradation, luminous highlights, and refined carving characteristic of Hasui’s finest landscape works.
