This edition is hand-printed by Unsodo in Kyoto using the original woodblocks created for the artist’s original edition. Expertly printed by master craftsmen using traditional Ukiyo-e techniques on fine Japanese washi paper, it faithfully preserves the delicate colors, refined details, and craftsmanship of Kato’s original design. The visible pigment bleed-through on the reverse is a natural characteristic of authentic hand-printed Japanese woodblock prints.
